Dr. Jack 1922

The conniving Dr. Ludwig von Saulsbourg (Eric Mayne) can’t seem to help a young woman (Mildred Davis) who is continually ill, so her wealthy father (John T. Prince) enlists small-town physician Dr. Jack (Harold Lloyd) to treat his daughter. Dr. Jack believes that kindness and compassion do more good for patients than newfangled potions or vaccines, and before long the girl is feeling better than ever. Unfortunately, she also falls in love with Dr. Jack, which sends the girl’s father into a rage.
