The Lumberjack 1914


Description A silent short, The Lumberjack was made locally in Wausau, Wisconsin and chronicles the courtship of a young couple from the city. The director of an itinerant film company, O.W. Lamb of the Paragon Feature Film Company of Omaha, Nebraska filmed this eighteen-minute, silent 35mm film in 1914. According to local newspapers and a 1982 documentary about the film, the entire cast was comprised of local citizens and features locations in and around Wausau.
