Beau Brummel 1924

British Army officer George Bryan Brummel (John Barrymore) is left brokenhearted when the love of his life, Lady Margery (Mary Astor), is forced to wed Lord Alvanley (William Humphrey). Winning the friendship of the Prince of Wales (Willard Louis), Brummel leaves his regiment and becomes one of Europe’s premiere fashion divas and a consummate ladies’ man. Unfortunately, his outspoken manner and growing distaste for the prince, who becomes King George IV, lead to his eventual exile to France.
